Middle School Admission Coordinator
"I'm happy to be working in Middle School admissions at MICDS. Middle School is such a fun, exciting, and tumultuous time of life and it feels like home to me. Middle School is a time to stretch by trying out new activities and friendships. That's why I love our Middle School - the opportunities and the people here make this a very special place to begin to spread your wings. I look forward to the chance to meet you, to talk about your passions and interests - who knows, we may share a love for reading, gardening, chocolate, laughing, the arts, bugs, traveling, or looking for the wonder in the world around us."
Lower School Admission Coordinator
"I am privileged to be working in Lower School admissions. I have been a part of the MICDS community for several years, first as a Senior Kindergarten teacher. As the Lower School Admission Coordinator (Grades JK-4) I have the wonderful opportunity to teach others about the tremendous faculty, students and families in the Lower School. A child's experience growing up and learning in the Lower School community is truly a gift. They experience social-emotional and academic growth in an environment that is both nurturing and challenging. The caring and dedicated faculty knows each child, encourages them and moves them forward in a developmentally appropriate way. I am looking forward to meeting you and sharing the School with you."
Upper & Middle School Admission Coordinator
“As a proud alum of MICDS I can think of no better way to serve my community than to share the experiences and opportunities provided to me by MICDS with families looking for excellence in secondary education. The breadth of activities, academic exposure and relationships I experienced at MICDS more than prepared me for success at Vanderbilt University and on into my early business career. Now with even more academic and technological options tailored to 21st Century learning, my only wish is that I could come back and be a student all over again! I can’t wait to meet your family, share my experiences, and find out all of the different ways in which you will follow your passions to contribute to our diverse community.”
