 | Andrea BrownsteinDirector of College Counseling Andrea Brownstein graduated from the University of Illinois and taught English in independent schools in Kentucky and Illinois, and at MICDS before joining the College Counseling Office in 1998. She is the mother of a grown daughter who survived high school, the college search, and graduate school to become a happy, productive adult: Andrea knows the arc of development and can assure parents that all will be well. Her current teaching interests are Ethics and the European Holocaust. |
 Reda GuebertReda Guebert comes to MICDS from rural southern Illinois. She, her husband and two sons are all graduates of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and are proud to be Saluki alums. Reda has spent the last 30+ years working with high school age students in the college counseling arena in both the public and private sectors. She is member of the St. Louis Four School College Fair Board and a member of the MICDS Student Life Committee.  Scott Herrmann-KeelingScott Herrmann-Keeling obtained both his bachelor's (psychology/sociology) and master's degrees (social psychology) from the University of Connecticut. Having spent his entire life in CT, the past ten years of which were in the admissions office at Trinity College in Hartford, he is excited to be here in St. Louis. He, his wife, and two dogs are busy discovering the rich array of opportunities and resources in the area. |
 Ian WatsonIan Watson attended the University of Colorado earning both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in English. He spent four years working in the Admission Office at Wheaton College in Norton, MA, before moving to Saint Louis in 2008 to join the College Counseling team at MICDS. In addition to his college counseling responsibilities, Ian teaches English and coaches both tennis and cycling. |
 Karen WildmanKaren Wildman is a graduate of the University of Missouri holding a degree in English with an emphasis in 19th century literature. She spent many years working at Washington University in St. Louis, primarily in the Offices of Admissions and Student Financial Services. Karen acts as the Upper School liaison to the Admissions Office at MICDS and sponsors the Admission Ambassadors. |
