First Graders Lead Chinese New Year Celebration

The perfect culmination to the first graders’ unit of study on China is the annual Chinese New Year parade, complete with a dragon made by the students. With instruments in hand, the first graders parade through the Beasley Cafeteria to cheers from Lower School students and parents. The first grade unit on China offers students an in-depth exploration of the history, culture, art and language of the Chinese people. And, 2017 is the Year of the Rooster!
