All Middle School and Upper School parents are invited to a «book club» presentation on Thursday, April 14, at 8:00 a.m. in the Middle School Alumnae Room. Dr. Jen Gafford will facilitate a discussion of the book, The Blessing of a B-, by Wendy Mogel, Ph. D. We will discuss how Dr. Mogel navigates the often rough journey of the teenage years, why influence is more effective than control, when to step in and when to take a step back, and all of the hidden blessings of raising a teenager. Copies of the book are available in the MICDS Bookstore. Even if you haven’t read the book, we hope you’ll join us for an informative discussion.
