Palmer Mihalevich '20 Named Scholar Athlete

We are thrilled to congratulate Palmer Mihalevich ’20 for being declared our 2020 Scholar Athlete! Palmer is featured in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch for her academic successes and athletic accomplishments on the cross country and track & field teams. She will be attending Rhodes College and hopes to work in environmental science. Palmer credits former teammate and MICDS alumna Jacqueline Zoeller ’18 as her model.

This is the 54th year of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Scholar Athlete program which “honors one student from every area school, a requirement being that they participate in athletics and excel in the classroom.” Scholar-athletes must letter in at least one varsity sport, be in the top 25 percent of their graduating class and be in good standing at their high school.

Way to go, Palmer!
