ATTENTION: ALL New Employees for Pegasus will need to be available for training and orientation during the week prior to the start of camp. In order to ensure the highest quality of care and safety for our staff and campers, you must be able to attend all training meetings.  DO NOT APPLY if you are not available June 6, 7, 8, 2017.

Availability for the entire 7 weeks is not a must. However, we require that you communicate any conflicts accurately and promptly as you become aware of them. Please note: background checks and reference checks need to be completed prior to becoming an employee.

Our first deadline for applications is Feb 16th, but we continue to accept and review applications after that date. We aim to have all positions filled by early April. However, changes in enrollment or staff availability can lead to additional hiring throughout the Spring.

Employment Opportunities for High School & College Students

Associate Counselors
A limited number of these positions are open each year to students who are completing 9th or 10th Grades prior to the start of camp. Associate Counselors are paid employees who serve to assist in our camp office and anywhere that campers and staff can be found. It is a wonderful way to get to know the program, receive training and help from more experienced staff, and share your interests and talents with children.

Each year we seek to fill openings with upperclassmen (completing 10th grade higher) and college students who bring skills, experiences, talents in a variety of areas that fit our program.

Employment Opportunities for Professional Educators, Instructors, and Supervisors

Interested applicants should send a letter of interest, resume, educational philosophy, and contact information for three professional references. Unofficial transcripts and letters of recommendation are appreciated but not required with the first mailing. Our Teachers are professional educators, expert artisans, coaches, or instructors who demonstrate a philosophical and practical approach to working with young people that aligns with our program.
