“If I cannot do great things,
I can do small things in a great way.”– Martin Luther King Jr.
Senior Kindergarteners recently created Martin Luther King Jr. portraits during their Changemakers Unit, where they explore the work of activists and philanthropists who have made a positive change in the world.
Students especially enjoyed reading about MLK Jr.’s love of football, basketball, and even rollerskating in the book When Martin Luther King Wore Rollerskates.
Thank you, SK students, for decorating the Lower School halls with these portraits that symbolize the impact of positive change!
