Lower School students gathered together on Thursday to hear from St. Louis Opera Theater’s “Opera on the GO!” singers. The visitors explained performing techniques and gave insight on what it’s like to be a professional opera singer. The students split into a series of workshops with the singers and ended by viewing an abridged performance of Mozart’s “The Magic Flute.”
Opera on the GO! is a program that reaches out to young people across the St. Louis region in an effort to bring the magic of opera into local students periphery.
