Honor Band

Gandhi '25, Neumann '25 and Zlatic '24 Perform with Metro 8 Middle School Honor Band

Sanjana Gandhi ’25 (3rd Chair Tenor Sax), Adrian Neumann ’25 (6th Chair Trumpet) and Zoe Zlatic ’24 (5th Chair Clarinet) performed with the Metro 8 Middle School Honor Band on Sunday, November 24 at The Principia. All three students were selected after a blind audition.

The performance, directed by Mr. Shane Williams, was lively and entertaining—a feat compounded by the fact that the entire band rehearsed together only twice before the show! When the first rehearsal was canceled due to inclement weather, the organizers extended the times of the last rehearsal, scheduled for the day before the performance. The students worked hard to learn their pieces before rehearsal and to practice and make adjustments between them.

Mr. Williams spoke during the show about the dedication of these talented musicians and expressed his appreciation of how much they were able to accomplish in such a short time.

Congratulations to Sanjana, Adrian and Zoe for a beautiful performance. Way to go, musical Rams!
