Senior "Stars" in Fox 2 Interview in Anticipation of Zero-G Flight

Zoe Zlatic ’24 was interviewed by Fox 2 on Wednesday for being one of four students selected from a competitive pool of applicants to help conduct research on NASA’s Zero-Gravity G-Force One this March. She landed this incredible opportunity through a collaboration with her recent SEES (STEM Enhancement in Earth Science) internship, which offers a joint program between NASA (the National Aeronautics and Space Administration) and the University of Texas at Austin Center for Space Research. On her flight, Zlatic will be conducting an experiment that she designed. In zero-gravity, she will test Procter & Gamble’s Water Purification Powder in micro and artificial gravity to see if the powder can be a water purification solution for astronauts on the Moon and Mars.

Check out the full interview on Fox 2 to learn more about Zlatic’s experiment, college plans, and the exciting Zero-G opportunity!
