Logan Donnelly '23

8th Grader Places 6th in State Geography Bee

After winning the MICDS GeoBee in January, Logan Donnelly ’23 took a computerized test to see if he qualified for the state-level Geography Bee. He scored in the top 100 on that test, earning himself a spot at the Missouri competition. This was the third state-level competition that Logan has worked his way to participate in.
On March 29, Logan participated in the contest at Mizzou. “I made it through nine preliminary rounds before going to a tiebreaker round to determine if I could get to the finals,” Logan shares. He won the tiebreaker round, making it into the top 10, and ultimately placed 6th out of the 100 competitors. What a world of information Logan knows!
