From the Desk of Jay Rainey – December 17, 2021

Dear MICDS Community,

On behalf of our entire faculty and staff, I write to wish you and your loved ones much happiness and joy in this holiday season and much hope in the year to come. One of the most zealous advocates for children’s education in the history of our nation, Horace Mann, once observed these truths: “Doing nothing for others is the undoing of ourselves. We must purposely be kind and generous, or we miss the best part of existence.” In this holiday season, we at MICDS wish many acts of kindness and generosity not only for you but from you, and thus wish you many such occasions of the best part of existence. What a wonderful time of year!

In celebration of this season of joy, we are sharing a selection from last night’s Winter Masterworks concert. Please enjoy Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

The entire concert was livestreamed on the MICDS YouTube channel.

Always reason, always compassion, always courage. Happy holidays to you and your loved ones.

Jay Rainey and the entire MICDS Faculty and Staff
