Discovering New Passions in Lower School Enrichment Classes

When the academic day wraps up, MICDS Lower Schoolers charge into after-school enrichment experiences to switch gears and put their boundless energy to good use. From honing their athletic skills to building flying machines, our youngest learners enjoy a vibrant selection of courses that bring a new level of joy to their daily routine.

“Enrichment courses allow students to try something new, get better at something they are familiar with, and simply have fun. It’s a total bonus to the school day and a rewarding after-school experience for our Lower School students,” said Matt Blair, Director of Extended Day.

The robust options meet for six to eight weeks at different points in the semester. For curious young scientists, there is Little Doctor School, Harry Potter STEM, and Bricks for Kidz, and our aspiring artists enjoy Broadway Magic, World of Design, and Springtime Fun. Students learn golf basics and chess, and participate in strings and piano lessons, too!
