No Late Start for MS and US - Wednesday, February 1

In view of the lost instructional day Monday, the Middle and Upper Schools will run block schedules through the end of the week (C, D, E, and F rotations). This calendar change means that, except in the Lower School, we will NOT run a late-start Wednesday schedule on February 1. Lower School will still have a late start. Middle and Upper School classes will begin promptly at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1.

Over a decade of Madness!

MICDS Madness is our annual 7-day giving challenge for young alumni. Twenty of some of the most recent graduating classes compete for the participation crown, and their gifts support faculty salaries, tuition assistance, technology, and other initiatives of shared importance to them and the School. Madness is a fun-spirited competition among classes where alumni encourage each other to express creativity via emails, social media, and videos. Throughout the campaign, alums also get a sense of what life is like for a student at MICDS today and which traditions have endured throughout the years.

This initiative would not be successful without the dedicated group of alums who volunteer each year to motivate and inspire their classmates to give. We are enormously grateful for our volunteers and proud of these classes that work so hard to ensure a transformative educational experience for today’s students. And, our young alum donors have a great deal of pride that their support helps to launch MICDS students on a lifetime journey of discovery, exploration, and innovation. Our faculty and students will forever be grateful for their support.
