Girls Tennis Hosts First Tournament of Champions, Freshman Earns Singles Title
The MICDS Girls Tennis team hosted its first Tournament of Champions last Saturday, October 4. Freshman Ava Sock ’29 won the inaugural singles title at the tournament. In a recap of the tournament, Head Varsity Girls Tennis Coach Brad Heinemann is quoted stating how he’s thrilled for the girls team to to begin hosting this annual tournament in the new Michael W. and Quirsis V. Riney Family Tennis Center. What a great first tournament with much to look forward to at the Tennis Center in years to come!
