Fifth-Grade Adventure Night was a memorable and meaningful experience for the Class of 2033, bringing students and teachers together for an evening filled with celebration, laughter, and community. On Thursday, May 21, students returned to campus at 5:00 p.m. for an exciting night of activities that extended far beyond the classroom. The evening included advisory challenge activities, games, a tasty barbecue dinner in the courtyard, and a variety of fun learning experiences that kept the energy high all night long. Students and teachers also transformed the MAC into an overnight campsite, where the sense of camaraderie and fun continued well into the evening.
One of the highlights of the evening was the late-night magic show hosted by our very own talented teacher from the Upper School, Spanish Teacher Christopher Barker, whose incredible tricks and humor captivated students and faculty alike. The excitement and joy throughout the night created lasting memories for everyone involved.
The event concluded Friday morning with a special advisory breakfast shared by students, parents and guardians, and teachers. Adventure Night truly served as a celebration of the Class of 2033 and a wonderful reminder of the strong connections and traditions that make the MICDS community so special.
