The Middle School Student Council recently led a letter writing campaign to help support Operation Gratitude, an organization that seeks to say “Thank you” to all who serve. Students used community time to write letters and draw pictures that will accompany care packages being sent to Deployed Troops, Veterans, New Recruits and First Responders.
Each year, Operation Gratitude sends more than 200,000 care packages, and perhaps the most cherished items in the packages are the letters and drawings thanking men and women for their service.
