May Day Postponed to 5/4
In view of the latest forecasts predicting a higher probability of inclement weather tomorrow than the day after, MICDS is postponing this year’s May Day ceremony to Sunday, May 4. We will communicate with you again no later than 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, to share further information about the time and plan for Sunday afternoon's ceremony. We value the May Day tradition at MICDS and regret the uncertainty of this weekend’s weather and any inconvenience it may cause. We appreciate your understanding as we make every effort to hold the ceremony under safe and enjoyable conditions.
Savannah Lesslie ’18 attended the UCA Summer Cheer Camp and was selected for the Varsity All-American Cheer Team. Only 15 girls were selected out of 200 who attended the camp. Savannah and the Varsity All-American Cheer Team will go on a tour in London, England for the New Year’s Day Parade.
Her MICDS varsity cheer team won first place in three events: Game Day Routine, Supreme Overall, and Leadership/Spirit Award. Savannah was also elected MICDS Varsity Cheer Team Captain.
