May Day Weather Planning

May Day Weather Planning

We are monitoring the weather forecast for this weekend very closely. To give you as much advance notice as possible, we will share a decision here about whether May Day will be held on Saturday or Sunday by Friday, May 2, at 2 p.m. In the event that May Day is postponed, it will be held on Sunday, May 4, at 5 p.m. We look forward to celebrating the May Day participants in the Class of 2025.

Faculty and Parents engage in Community Conversations

Parents and Staff Gather for a Community Conversations Speaker Series

Parents and Staff gathered for another Community Conversations with the topic of “Living our Mission.” The Assistant Head of School, Brian Thomas, kicked off the conversation by reading aloud the MICDS Mission Statement. The crowd then split off into different groups and further discussed the topic of the night.

The Community Conversations speaker series is a way for the MICDS community to develop skills of dialogue and cultural competency by entering into authentic conversations with others whose life experiences and perspectives are different from their own.
