Due to the forecasted inclement weather, MICDS will have an early dismissal at 1:15 p.m. Please make arrangements to pick up your children no later than 2 p.m., at which time campus will be closed. All after-school and evening activities are canceled. UPPER SCHOOL - There will be no supervised spaces available after campus is closed. All students are expected to be picked up or depart by 2 p.m. MIDDLE SCHOOL - Middle School carpool will proceed as usual. Middle School siblings of Lower School students will need to be picked up in the Middle School carpool through Entrance #1 (C Lot). LOWER SCHOOL - Lower School carpool will proceed as usual. Students in Grades 2 through 4 will dismiss between 1:15 and 1:30, and students in Grades JK through 1 will dismiss between 1:35 and 1:45. Younger siblings of students in Grades 2 through 4 will be ready in the 1:15 shift.

Fencing in France

Bogdan Hamilton ’22 finished 8th at the Cabries World Cup Men’s Foil tournament held in Cabries, France on November 30. This was his best result in an international fencing event! The World Cup attracted 240 of the top cadet (under 17) competitors from over 30 countries around the world and is considered one of the toughest tournaments on the international fencing circuit. Bogdan defeated opponents from France, Russia, Singapore, the United States and Italy before losing in the quarterfinals. Bogdan’s next international tournament will be in Bratislava, Slovakia, in January. Way to go, Bogdan!

Field Hockey All-Conference Members

Metro League 2019 field hockey all-conference members have been announced on STL Today, and many Rams made the roster! Congratulations to Mia Duchars ’20 who is the Co-player of the year! Caroline Carr ’20, Skyler Lesslie ’20, Kate Oliver ’22, Reagan Calcari ’20, Molly Christopher ’20, Lily Baker ’21and Barbara Riberio ’20 made First Team while Jenna Bernstein ’21,Hanna Wurdack ’21, Brecken Calcari ’22 and Ella Durrill ’21 earned Honorable Mention. Congratulations lady Rams!
