Student Standouts: Boys and Girls Basketball in the News

Congratulations to this week’s standouts below. Way to go #RamNation! And as always, if you have a story to share, please email weeklynews@micds.org.

Boys Basketball in the News

Several of our Rams were featured in this STL Today article that covered our boys basketball 44-37 victory over the Burroughs Bombers. A late push in the fourth quarter and solid defense propelled MICDS to a lead.

The Rams also defeated Carthage, 52-39, on Thursday at Lebanon which can be read about on STL Today here. Way to go, MICDS Rams!

Girls Basketball in the News

The Girls Basketball team rallied past John Burroughs last weekend, earning a great write-up in this STL Today article. The Rams were down 42-34 with two minutes, five seconds left in the third quarter and took the final eight points of the game to tie it heading into the fourth. Then, they just kept scoring to earn another great Rams victory with a final score of 53-50. Way to persevere!
