A highlight of the admission season is celebrating our newly accepted students and families. With a honk and a wave this week, we welcomed our new Junior Kindergarten accepts who applied and were accepted under the Family Early Action Option (FEAO).
This earlier application option is for children of MICDS alumni, faculty, and staff, and children whose siblings are current MICDS students. After receiving their acceptance notifications, families were invited to cruise through a festive drive-through event to share in the joy with current faculty, administrators, parent volunteers, and students.
Each family drove along with waves and smiles as their MICDS friends cheered them on with pom-poms, cowbells, and “Home of a Future Ram” yard signs. They received a goody bag with stuffed bears or rams (wearing MICDS shirts, of course), cookies, and other assorted treats and trinkets.
What a warm and wonderful way to welcome new friends into our growing Rams family! Thank you to all who helped celebrate this special moment, and congratulations to the new accepts!
