Earlier this week, I asked the following question of all our MICDS students, faculty, and staff by way of a brief online survey: “As you think about your plans for our upcoming spring break, what words immediately come to mind?” Each respondent could submit up to five words, and this is what they had to say:
“Fun” was far and away the most common response, with 109 submissions. “Break,” “sleep,” and “vacation” were tied at 60 submissions apiece, followed by “family,” “beach,” “freedom,” and “friends.”
Whatever your own spring break plans and happy word associations, I hope that you and your family return to MICDS at the end of this month rejuvenated and excited as we look forward to the final nine weeks of our school year together.
