Calling all current and newly-enrolled MICDS families, faculty, staff, and alumni—join us for our fourth annual MICDS Arts Fest on Thursday, April 9, 2026! We are delighted to celebrate the Arts in this popular, creative tradition. Arts Fest 2026 promises to be full of performances and activities for you and your whole Rams family to enjoy!

- Parking InformationParking is available at any open campus parking lot space. Check out our Campus Map to note parking lot options in relation to the Arts Fest Map.
- Food at Arts Fest
A limited number of the following snacks will be available at no charge in the MAC:
- Flik is providing cookies and popcorn while supplies last
- Cotton Candy will be made at the Arts Boosters table
For water, please bring your own water bottle or use the water fountains.
- Call for Parent/Guardian Volunteers
We need your help to create an unforgettable Arts Fest for our MICDS community on Thursday, April 9! Sign up to volunteer here! There are 75-minute shifts available, so you can still enjoy the event and volunteer. Here are some of the ways parents can help at Arts Fest 2026:
- Assist faculty at their creative booths
- Help student performers get on and off the stage
- Direct parents to various performances
- Supervise student performers in the Green Room
- Support general Arts Fest needs with set-up and clean-up
Parent volunteers will check in at the Arts Boosters table in the MAC.
- Arts Spirit Dress Days
Lower School:
- Monday, April 6: Musician Monday
Wear a concert shirt/band gear. - Tuesday, April 7: Tie-Dye Tuesday
- Wednesday, April 8: Watercolor Wednesday
Wear your own color-wash outfit. - Thursday, April 9: Show Your Spirit Thursday
Spirit Wear - Friday, April 10: Pajama Day
Middle School:
- Monday, April 6 – Color Wash Day
Dress head to toe in your grade-level color - Tuesday, April 7 – Icon Day
Dress as a famous artist, musician, actor, dancer, or other creative icon who has made an impact in the arts. - Wednesday, April 8 – Rhyme without a Reason Day
Time to lean into your inner poet, dress up as two rhyming words, even if they have nothing to do with each other. - Thursday, April 9 – Dress to Impress
Wear an outfit that would fit right in at an art gallery opening, concert, or theater premiere and show off your most polished creative style! - Friday, April 10 – MICDS Spirit Wear
Upper School:
- Monday, April 6: Pajama day
- Tuesday, April 7: Dress like a Favorite Artist Day
- Wednesday, April 8: Monochrome Day
- Thursday, April 9: Fun Print Day
- Friday, April 10: Tie-Dye day

- A Note for Lower School Families
There will be no Extended Day on Thursday, April 9. Please be sure to pick up your student(s) no later than 3:30 p.m. or join your student(s) for Arts Fest. Lower School students may not attend this event without a parent or guardian.
- A Note for Middle School Families
There will be no scheduled activities, clubs, athletics, or ASAP after school on Thursday, April 9. Please be sure to pick up your student(s) no later than 3:45 p.m. or join your student(s) for Arts Fest. Middle School students may not attend this event without a parent or guardian.
