Overview

In Middle School Water Polo, 7th and 8th grade students have an opportunity to learn skills first introduced in their PE Water Polo unit twice weekly during the spring. Players become very familiar with the lingo of learned water polo skills: up-slide-up, eggbeater, halo, near-side-low. They also have many chances to demonstrate these skills throughout the season.

While Middle School Water Polo is open to any student, strong (or very capable) swimming skills are suggested due to the nature of the game. There are many opportunities to scrimmage in the spring, both within the team and against a local MS water polo development program.
