Beasley Science Off to a Great Start

Lower School students are already jumping into exploring their world and using their creativity to problem-solve. Laura Pupillo, LS Science Teacher, does a great job engaging the brains and hands of her budding scientists. Check out what’s been happening this week at Beasley!

First grade visited the science courtyard to explore different plants for the first half of class. For the second half, they examined what materials are good at collecting pollen. (This is a sneak preview into the exciting cross-curricular week in store for them. Stay tuned for a full story in a future issue of Weekly News.)

Fourth grade explored an introduction to robotics with some hands-on components. They’ll be working with wheels and gears and motors, in addition to learning to code.

Whether our student scientists are exploring the world outside or digging into the technology of the future, they’re having a great time learning!
