Following is the information the St. Louis County Library has made available on its website:

The St. Louis County Library’s event with Rick Riordan in 2009 attracted over 1,600 young readers and was the largest event in Library history! We are thrilled to announce that Mr. Riordan will be returning to St. Louis for an even bigger and better event in 2010. And this year, the Library will host the event in the McDonnell Athletic Center at MICDS (Mary Institute and Country Day School) so that over 2000+ fans will definitely get to hear Mr. Riordan speak and have their books signed!

Date/Time: Thursday, October 14, 7 pm (Doors open at 6 pm. Because of MICDS’s school schedule, we ask that you wait until after 4 pm to line up.)

Location: MICDS, 101 N. Warson Rd., St. Louis, MO 63124 (MICDS is located at the intersection of Ladue and Warson – McDonnell Athletic Center, Entrance 1 on Ladue Rd.)

Free tickets are required and available at the St. Louis County Library regional branches (Headquarters, Tesson Ferry, Florissant Valley, and Daniel Boone) and at MICDS.

Seating at the event will be first-come, first served–except for a reserved seat section for the Friends of the Library Foundation (annual membership group). Books will be available for purchase at the event from Borders (Brentwood location (314) 918-8189). Book signing line numbers will be given out as people arrive at the event.
