Candid Conversations Presents “A Race to Nowhere”

Candid Conversations- a partnership of MICDS students, parents, faculty and administrators – invites:
Parents of students JK-12 and students in grades 7-12 to SAVE THE DATE of Wednesday May 4, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. for a screening of the documentary film “Race to Nowhere” and a panel discussion in Mary Eliot Chapel on the Middle School campus.
All current and recently enrolled JK-12 families at MICDS (as well as all faculty and staff at the school) are invited to join us on May 4 for the screening. Note that we encourage parents to consider coming to the screening with their children in grades 7-12 but not those in earlier grades due to the PG-13 rating of the film. A panel discussion debrief will follow directly after the screening, one including MICDS personal counselors, college counselors, learning specialists, students, and parents.

Demand for tickets is high, so please reserve your free tickets as soon as possible using the following weblink: http://rtnmicds.eventbrite.com/ On the evening of the event, please bring printed out copies of your tickets.
