We’re excited to announce that on Tuesday, November 29, MICDS will participate in #GivingTuesday, a day that follows the traditional consumer-driven shopping days of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This is a big opportunity to strengthen the foundation of our local, national, and global community by providing critical funding for – and celebrating the work of – nonprofits across the globe.
At MICDS our mission, as a non-profit institution, emphasizes preparing young learners for lives of purpose and service, and community service is an all-school initiative, with opportunities for service across all grades JK-12, and even including our employees.
We invite you to join the movement and not only give to MICDS and others this November 29, but help spread the word. While many of you have already made a gift to MICDS this year, if you haven’t, we encourage you to do so to strengthen our efforts on this day. We also hope that you will pledge to join us, and your other favorite charities and nonprofits, on social media and tweet, post or share something in support of #GivingTuesday.
