Class of 2029 Students Enjoy Cookies, Cocoa and Cheer

By Siara Montgomery P’29

On Friday, December 12, the Class of 2029 held its “Cookies, Cocoa, and Cheer” event. Students enjoyed a variety of cookies and hot cocoa while having the chance to win festive holiday-themed raffle bags, courtesy of the Ninth-Grade Parent Association members. The event featured music and cheer to energize the students in preparation for Finals Week.

The Ninth Grade Junior Varsity Cheer Captains, Zion Perry ’29 and Naila Ashford ’29, brought energy and encouragement, helping create a festive and supportive atmosphere during the event. Musical entertainment was provided by guitarists Parker Cabbabe ’29 and Tommy Kastor ’28, along with pianist Michelle Chao ’28.

Special thanks to Upper School Dean of Students & Math Teacher Chris Ludbrook, Middle & Upper School Music Teacher Bernard Berry, Class Chair Siara Montgomery P’29, Vice-Chair Kristin Akin P’29, and parent volunteers Chanel McPike P’29, Stacy Haberstroh P’29, and Marva Robinson P’29.

Congratulations to all the raffle winners, and thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event a success!
