Eight Student-Athletes Commit on Early College Signing Day

On Wednesday, eight MICDS seniors signed early letters of intent to receive athletic-based college scholarships in basketball, lacrosse, rowing, field hockey, and equine sports. To date, this is the school’s largest early signing group.

“This is a chance for our young student-athletes to commit to a Division 1 or Division 2 program to continue their athletic careers,” said Josh Smith, Director of Athletics. “The success of our student-athletes speaks to the drive, the passion, the commitment, and just the sheer talent in the class of 2026. We are very excited for all of them. Congratulations!”

Wednesday’s early signing ceremony precedes a larger event in February that will include additional student-athletes committing to colleges.
