The Garden Club of Saint Louis, the Ladue Garden Club and the St. Louis Science Center invite you to experience Science Flora, a Garden Club of America Flower Show for the entire family with a scientific twist. The show takes place this weekend at the Science Center. Hours on Friday, September 24, are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Saturday, September 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Highlights include floral arrangements created with scientific themes, including « May the Force Be with You, » « Nanotechnology, » and « Out of this World. » Dr. Peter Raven, President Emeritus of the Missouri Botanical Garden, will give a presentation titled « Making a Greener World Better, » at 12:00 nooon on Saturday, September 25. Flower arranging and dissection workshops for kids will be offered throughout the show.
