MICDS 8th Grade Band members Ryan Ahn (Alto Saxophone), Ceci Cohen (Oboe), Stanley Ding (Clarinet), and Jayanth Uppaluri (Percussion) were selected by blind audition to participate in the 2015 St. Louis Metro District #8 Middle School Honors Band. The audition took place at Saeger Middle School in the Francis Howell School District on November 7. These talented musicians represent the highest number of band students from MICDS chosen for the Honors Band in the last 10 years.
They will attend three two-hour rehearsals and perform in the Honors Concert at Chaminade on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 1:00 PM. We are proud to have Ryan, Ceci, Stanley, and Jayanth representing MICDS in this respected ensemble!
