To better prepare for a potential emergency, we will be conducting a “lockdown” procedure drill in all three divisions at MICDS on Tuesday, February 5. Faculty and students will be told “this is a drill” when the lockdown is called, in order to prevent any unnecessary panic or anxiety. We will also discourage students from using cell phones or sending text messages during a drill. The need for lockdown drills may cause the need for safety conversations at home, which is why we are choosing to inform you of this exercise in advance. Please know that the drills are being conducted to improve safety and security practices at our School.
