Lower School Ghosts and Goblins Celebrate Halloween

Our Beasley Boos had a day full of fun on Friday, October 31: Halloween! They enjoyed a spooky Halloween Sharing assembly in the South Gym, where each grade performed for their Lower School friends.

The program ran as follows:

  • JK – Little Ghosty
  • SK – This is Halloween
  • First Grade – Purple People Eater
  • Second Grade – Room on the Broom (acting & Orff instruments)
  • Third Grade – Only in October (with Barred Instruments + Ukuleles)
  • Third & Fourth Grade Choir – Double, Double Toil and Trouble

After the choir, the children enjoyed a pre-recorded video of the fourth grade, who performed the musical accompaniment to Mickey Mouse’s Haunted House and Double, Double Toil and Trouble. Many thanks to Lower School Music Teacher Dr. Katy Nichols and Lower School Coordinator of Instructional Technology Robyn Williams for their work on this.

Following the video, it was time for our students to go on parade! Each year, Upper School students, teachers, and staff in Olson Hall enjoy this festive, adorable treat. Please enjoy this time-lapse version:

What a wonderful Halloween! Thank you to Dr. Nichols for all her hard work planning this event, and to all our Lower School Faculty and Staff for their support.
