MICDS Art Students Launch Exhibit at St. Louis Artists’ Guild

For the next month, Photo 3 and AP 2D Design students at MICDS have their very own exhibit running at the St. Louis Artists’ Guild called “Between Illusion and Reality.” The exhibit runs from November 17 through December 23 with an opening reception on Friday, November 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Ramp Gallery.

“The Artists’ Guild approached us to do a show in tandem with the other artists who are exhibiting at the Guild, which are exploring space as well,” explained Denise Douglas, Upper School Fine Arts Teacher & Gallery Director. Ms. Douglas’ art students were tasked with exploring the concept of space—both physical space and symbolic space. What they came up with can now be seen at a dedicated group exhibit!
