MICDS Community Promotes Heart Health Through Day of Walking

Students, faculty and staff in all three divisions participated in a mile-long walk on March 12 to promote heart health and emphasize the importance of regular exercise and healthy habits. Emily Bailey, Director of Nutrition at Nutriformance and Athletic Republic kicked off the walks with a brief presentation on the health benefits of walking and daily exercise. Following warm-up exercises, everyone was off to enjoy a spring walk across campus.
