This weekend (November 12-13) is a wonderful opportunity to introduce your children to FIRST LEGO League competition. MICDS is honored to have been chosen to host two of the qualifying events for our region, which spans from Springfield, IL, to Columbia, MO. Going to the MICDS football game? Visit on Sunday; 20 different teams will compete each day.
For the best overall experience, visit the McDonnell Athletic Center after 12:30 on Saturday or Sunday and experience The PIT Area as well as the excitement of the full-on robotics competition at the FIRST LEGO League level.
Awards and teams advancing to the Eastern Missouri Championship will be announced starting around 3:30 each day. A concession stand will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Free admission.
