“I will live by the principles of trust, respect, responsibility and honor as a student at MICDS.”
This is the commitment middle school students made as they signed the Honor Code on Wednesday and promised to make our middle school community a community of kindness.
Prior to signing, students heard from Head of Middle School Jen Schuckman. “No matter what noise or chaos or drama exists, we should be able to walk in these doors and live out our purpose without anything standing in our way”, she said. “That is what our Community of Kindness should feel like, and our Honor Code is the promise that brings it to life.” She went on to remind students that it is up to each and every one of us to hold each other to its principles.
