On December 2, 2025, the MICDS Parents Association welcomed parents and guardians, faculty, and friends to its annual Holiday Gathering. Despite the slushy weather outside, the event brought warmth, connection, and holiday spirit to Brauer Hall.
Attendees enjoyed festive music performed by student musicians, delicious holiday hors d’oeuvres, and fun photos. They also heard warm greetings from PA Past President Jen Hogan P’26, ’28, Current President Anne Schultz P’25, ’29, and Head of School Jay Rainey. In true holiday fashion, Mr. Rainey surprised everyone with an impromptu piano performance of The Christmas Song as well as his “Wish List for Chelle,” which contained thoughtful suggestions for welcoming the next Head of School.
The gathering was not only a celebration of community but also an opportunity to support others. Parents generously contributed coats and winter gear to Helping Hands and the Day Leadership Academy, extending the spirit of giving beyond the campus.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Jacque Mileusnic ’00, P’29, ’32, ’34, ’37, Katie Potter P’31, Melissa Swank P’29, ’31, and the many parent volunteers who helped bring this beautiful event to life.
