Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles played through the speakers as parents and guardians filled Olson Hall for the Parents Association Fall Welcome Coffee & Community Fair—a wonderful morning of connection, community, and MICDS spirit!
Guests were welcomed by Charger, the mascot, wearing bright green MICDS sunglasses, and our enthusiastic PA Committee members, who shared gold beads and the many ways parents and guardians can get involved, meet new people, and make a difference throughout the MICDS community.
The morning’s theme, “The Future Is Bright,” felt especially fitting as our new Head of School, Chelle Wabrek, shared stories from her first two weeks of school and her excitement about becoming part of the MICDS community. Her warmth, enthusiasm, and vision made it clear that there is so much to look forward to in the year ahead!
Thank you to all who joined us, connected with fellow families, and learned more about the Parents Association. It was so great to see everyone! We can’t wait for all the fun, friendship, and community still to come—and we look forward to seeing you at our next gathering.
