SK students host a Native American History Museum

Senior Kindergartners Showcase their Learning by Hosting a Native American Museum

Senior Kindergartners just finished their two week unit on Native American history and culture. In true project-based learning fashion, students created beaded necklaces, Pueblo storyteller dolls, Hopi pinch pots, story sticks, adobe houses and more as they explored this amazing culture. The culmination of the unit was Tuesday morning’s Native American Museum. The SK’ers proudly displayed their projects, told stories, and explored books as they toured their parents and other Lower School students through the museum. For some Lower School students, this was a trip down memory lane as they remembered their SK Native American museum experience from years ago. What a neat tradition and learning experience for all!
