Due to the forecasted inclement weather, MICDS will have an early dismissal at 1:15 p.m. Please make arrangements to pick up your children no later than 2 p.m., at which time campus will be closed. All after-school and evening activities are canceled. UPPER SCHOOL - There will be no supervised spaces available after campus is closed. All students are expected to be picked up or depart by 2 p.m. MIDDLE SCHOOL - Middle School carpool will proceed as usual. Middle School siblings of Lower School students will need to be picked up in the Middle School carpool through Entrance #1 (C Lot). LOWER SCHOOL - Lower School carpool will proceed as usual. Students in Grades 2 through 4 will dismiss between 1:15 and 1:30, and students in Grades JK through 1 will dismiss between 1:35 and 1:45. Younger siblings of students in Grades 2 through 4 will be ready in the 1:15 shift.

Sloane to Play Lacrosse on Australian National U19 Team

Will Sloane ’20 has been selected as a member of the Australian National U19 Men’s Lacrosse Team to compete in the 2020 FIL World Lacrosse Championships! In July 2020, the championships will be held in Limerick, Ireland. Sloane has worked tirelessly over the past 15 months to gain selection to the 23 Aussie-strong roster and will play against fellow MICDS alum, MICDS lacrosse teammate and friend Graham Bundy Jr. ’19 who will represent the USA. Go Crocs and Rams!

Ray Earns First Team All-Metro

Congratulations to Julia Ray ’23! Not only was she the District Champion when the Rams won the Class 3 District 4 Championship, but this week, she was declared First Team All-Metro for Girls Cross Country. She will receive the award for this outstanding honor on February 23 at a celebratory banquet. Stay tuned for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch announcement on her achievement. Way to run, Julia!
