Katie Flemming ’19 launched her nonprofit, Katie’s Books for Kids, last fall with the mission to donate one new or gently used book for every pediatric patient in Children’s Hospitals across the country. To date, Katie has collected and donated over 2,106 books! Governor Greitens recently recognized Katie for her leadership and compassion with an autographed copy of one of his own books. Katie will also release an original song, “Hero”, in November and a portion of the proceeds will go to her charity.
