No Late Start for MS and US - Wednesday, February 1

In view of the lost instructional day Monday, the Middle and Upper Schools will run block schedules through the end of the week (C, D, E, and F rotations). This calendar change means that, except in the Lower School, we will NOT run a late-start Wednesday schedule on February 1. Lower School will still have a late start. Middle and Upper School classes will begin promptly at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1.

Student Standout: Ji ’21, Mauney ’22, Donovan ’18

Eric Ji ’21 and Ryan Mauney ’22 had an impressive weekend of swimming competition! Ryan was part of two record breaking swimming relay teams during a three-day swim meet in Edwardsville, Illinois, called Long Course Kick Off, where swimmers from the entire Ozark LSC USA Swimming Region competed. Ryan was part of the 200 freestyle relay that broke the long course record for the entire Ozark Region. Both Ryan and Eric were part of the relay team that broke the record for the long course 200 Medley relay. Eric swam the 50 meter back stroke leg, and Ryan swam the 50 meter freestyle leg.

Alex Donovan ’18 was recently named a 2018 U.S. Presidential Scholar Semifinalist. Including Alex, 11 semifinalists were chosen from Missouri and 630 nationally out of a pool of over 5,100 candidates. Congrats Alex!
