Sophomore Henry Cordes Commits to University of Missouri

A huge round of applause goes to Henry Cordes ’24 for committing to the University of Missouri! He will be playing baseball for the Mizzou Tigers and we look forward to cheering him on at the college level.

« Committing to the University of Missouri is my greatest accomplishment so far in both my athletic and academic career, » shares Henry. « It shows my deep dedication to my dream, the many hours spent in the classroom, on the field, or in the gym making myself better. Although it is an amazing success in my collegiate process, as my dad always says, ‘I hope to see this accomplishment as simply a small base camp on a mountain, giving you a quick rest and sense of pride, but the next morning you’re still going to have to keep climbing.’ It’s a moral to never be satisfied, to stay hungry for more success, which I think is very important for my future. With that being said, this accomplishment couldn’t have been achieved without the many close people I have, supporting me through thick and thin, and to them I will always be thankful. And perhaps most important to my MICDS teachers who have prepared me for this accomplishment well before I had even thought it was a reality, so thank you all. »

Ram Nation is so proud. Congratulations, Henry!
