First Grade Chess Champion

On Saturday, October 13, first grader Nahata ’30 participated in the Crossroads Elementary Chess Tournament organized by the Gateway Chess League. As one of just 39 kids participating, Nahata was all smiles when he won first place in the first grade and third place in the 6th grade and under team for MICDS. He was excited to bring the trophies home, and we can’t be more proud of him!
