Golf Star Finishes MICDS Golf Career with A-Game

Katie Mikulec ’22 wrapped up her MICDS Golf career with her A-game on the back 9, carding a 39 and finishing 38th overall in the State Individual Championships in Class 4 on Tuesday. Way to go, Katie!

Sixth Grader Stars in Production

Earlier this month, Asher Woodward ’28 played the role of Christian Bechdel in Take Two Productions’ Fun Home. Reflecting on the experience, Asher shares, “Fun Home is an awesome show, based on the graphic novel by Alison Bechdel. I had a lot of fun and made some really amazing friends along the way.” Asher was originally cast in March of 2020 for an October 2020 show, but the show was postponed for a year. Varsity Tennis

Girls Varsity Tennis Competes at State

The Girls Varsity Tennis Team is off to a great start at the State competition! In Doubles, Mikaela Mikulec ’24 and Rachel Li ’24 won their match last Friday (6-3, 6-3) giving them 5th place in the Class 3 State Doubles competition.

The Team State event is tomorrow, Saturday, October 23. This will be their first-ever Class 3 Final Four appearance with the top-rated schools in the state. They will be playing Park Hill High School in the semifinals out of the Kansas City area. Park Hill has a record of 16-1 and will be a strong opponent for the Rams.

Varsity Football Ready to Face Chaminade

The Varsity Football Team is highlighted in STL High School Sports as our Rams head into the next game which occurs on Saturday at 2 p.m. MICDS will face Chaminade for the first time this century. The article spotlights Reagan Andrew ’22, Steven Hall ’23, Winston Moore ’23, PJ Behan ’22, Gus Baisch ’22, Cortlin Dalton ’23, and Bjorn Sjogren ’22 for their stellar football performances thus far this season. As a whole, the team has won all eight of its games this 2021 season. Keep it up, Rams!
