The Hour of Code is a global movement that reaches millions of students across the globe through a one-hour program of computer science and computer programming, and this year had a great showing at MICDS. Students were able to program spheros and drones this year, which is an addition from last year’s event.
The students could choose between different topics, including:
- Science
- Math
- Social Studies
- Language Arts
- Art, Media, Music
- Computer Science only
- Or a combination
The program was a great opportunity for students to develop their interest in coding while engaging with professionals from the St. Louis area.
