Dave Candelario, MICDS Director of Technology for the past six years, resigned earlier this week to pursue other opportunities. During Dave’s tenure he oversaw tremendous growth in our network and the use of instructional technologies.
Under his leadership, the School migrated to a wireless environment and adopted a tablet laptop program for grades 7-12. MICDS wishes him all the best in his future career.
We have been fortunate to secure the services of an Interim Director of Technology, Tom Wyman, who will begin working with the staff this week. We will immediately begin the search for a new director but will most likely not appoint a successor until summer given our hope of hiring someone experienced in the use of technology in an academic environment.
